Frequently Asked Questions
VIRTUAL EVENT PLANNING

What is the difference between “Full Event Production” and “Done With You”?
Full event production is the right solution if you just need someone to handle it. We’ll need you for a handful of meetings and approvals, but rest easy knowing we’ve got you covered.
Choose “Done With You” if you’re hoping to do this independently in the future, but need the peace of mind and added impact an experienced team can add to get you started on your first event.
Not sure which to choose. No worries. We’re happy to talk you through it.

How much time do we need to plan a virtual event?
The short answer is 2-16 weeks. Have we done it in 24-48 hours? Yes, we have. Whenever possible, we recommend investing the time needed into making this a great experience for your guests and for your team.

How much do we need to plan to invest?
Well, enough to capture your audience’s attention. We’ll work with you to match your budget, team capacity, and goals to an event strategy that will achieve the greatest impact for you. Hop on a call with our team and we’ll walk you through what you didn’t even know was possible.

“My organization uses Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, or another meeting platform. Can we just use that?”
We specialize in virtual events that create a sense of place, natural interactions, connections, and community. We are able to offer that to you when we use tools that go beyond standard meeting apps. That more human, in-person feeling you’ve been longing for….it can be a reality. And you don’t need a bunch of expensive or complicated tech or expertise to make it happen. If you're tired of struggling, or just wish there was a better way, let’s talk. We’ll give you a peek into what is possible and you can decide for yourself if you’d like to stick with your existing meeting format or create a new vision.

Ready-to-Host Floorplans

How do I get my floorplan?
Complete your purchase and make sure to provide the email address associated with your Remo account. Within 24 hours (often much sooner), we will upload your floorplan directly to your Remo account through Remo. We’ll notify you when that upload is complete. You never have to handle files or worry about the technical stuff. You get an amazing floorplan, ready to use, right in your account.
How long can I use/keep it?
The floorplan is licensed to your Remo account where we upload it. You will have it there for the lifetime of your Remo account to use as often as you like.
What about sponsors, stage, billboards?
What if I need changes?
We would be happy to talk to you about modifying one of our floorplans to better suit your needs. Take a look at our Custom Floorplans FAQ or reach out to us to learn more about that process.

The math doesn’t add up the number of seats you list is more than the event capacity you list.
The Remo algorithms fill events to only 80% capacity. This is by design. It allows some “breathing room” so there is always somewhere for a guest to go if they’d like to move to another table. It keeps the guests flowing around the room.
Custom Floorplans

What kind of floorplans do you make?
From simple revisions or seating changes, to full immersive creative virtual spaces, the beauty of custom floorplans is the full range of options they offer. We can simply start from a Remo basic floorplan or one of our ready-to-host floorplans and change colors, add logos, or modify seating arrangements or work with you collaboratively to create something altogether new.

Some clients have wanted to link their virtual events as closely as possibly an in-person experience they’ve come to expect. This approach is great for continuity and brand development.

We have mastered techniques and are consistently finding new ways to create different views and a variety of imagery. We can help create the ambience of a space you usually host in, or help you explore new, imaginative solutions. We love pushing boundaries to create entirely new, creative event experiences that may not even be possible in real life. We can suggest innovative bits and pieces to incorporate or work with you on a never-before-seen experience.

When you are working in the virtual realm, there are no limits.
What is the process?
First we talk. This might be new territory for you, but we understand Remo inside and out. We also have experience with event planning well before this age of virtual events. We want to make sure we create a floorplan that will work not only technically, but will create the kind of experience you are looking for. We help put all those pieces together.

From that first discussion, we deliver initial ideas, a scope of work, timeline, and budget so you can make the right decision for your organization.
Reach out and let’s start a discussion.
Will it work?

How much does it cost?
Every event is unique, and we want to make sure we meet your specific needs. For reference, take a look at our ready-host-floorplans and consider that as a base price. Please contact us and we’d be happy to discuss your best options and offer you a quote. Once we give you a price, there are no surprises.
How long does the process take?
Some events call for quick turnaround and we do our best to accommodate those situations. For a full collaborative process, you will want to allow several weeks. Please contact us and we can help define the appropriate timeline for your project.
What if I need changes?
We build in feedback and two rounds of revisions into the design process, so you’ll have time to make necessary changes and make sure we are all on the same page. Once final sign-off and delivery is complete we consider the contract fulfilled. If you’d like to continue to modify the floorplan, we’d be happy to discuss a new scope of work and the associated cost. We, of course, stand by the functionality of all our floorplans.
